Ever since we came out of industry, we weren't impressed with what was on offer in the UV flashlight consumer market. The simple problem is that they're just too damn dim! So we set about addressing that need and filling that gap.


Our brand is for people who want a serious UV handheld device. That's quality.

With an awesome reputation in both domestic and commercial markets, we don’t do “me too” product imitations. Instead we like to innovate and make a genuine difference. This really isn’t just another Black Light or UV Flashlight.


uvBeast created the King of UV flashlights, with the V1 model. Users got fed up with weaker UV flashlights. They asked for more UV power. So, we got to work, and here they are! The V1 with a beast of a UV beam out to over 30 feet in dark conditions, and spraying a flood coverage, there simply isn’t any other contender we’ve come across. It’s a Beast!

We're obsessed with UV and folks who need UV.  We've worked for major corporates and research facilities globally so we know a little bit about solid state (quantum) physics and coherent light.


We may have the flare of British engineering but we're infatuated with all things American - especially the appetite to continuously shoot for bigger and better. So we started touting ourselves in the US as a starting point and never looked back since 2015.


As far as we're concerned you will not find a finer critic of a flashlight than someone in the US! We know that if it's good enough for the folks in the US, then it'll definitely be good for just about everybody else.

“I am using the flashlight for an application that I wanted to share with everybody. I am using the uvBeast 365nm light in a flourescent microscope that I am building to look at cancer cells that are stained with UV fluorescent dye. This is replacing an EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE mercury arc lamp, which has multiple spectra peaks and needs intense filtering to remove blue and visible light, to leave the 365nm peak. This uvBeast UV 365nm flashlight gives very nice, pure 365nm spectra and only needs a single filter to cut out all of the visible light. It is also orders of magnitude cheaper.
